Lucky Cat Mario functions the same as Cat Mario, retaining his scratching attack, diving attack, and ability to climb up walls. When in statue form, his suit changes to golden yellow and he takes on a shiny, sparkling golden tint and holds a coin in one paw whilst holding the other paw in the air.

Lucky Cat Mario's appearance is almost exactly the same as his normal Cat form, except he now dons a red collar with a Lucky Bell attached to it on his neck.
